It has been a bit quiet of late on the Electric Range Rover. At the launch of the L460 it was cited that an all-Electric version would follow, and that was in late 2021. Then in late 2024 a press release stated that the Range Rover Electric was being tested in Dubai.

The Range Rover Electric is a big deal. It will be Land Rovers first all-electric vehicle. Jaguar have experience with the i-Pace and I am sure some of the knowledge gained from this will have been used and Jaguar are also testing and teasing us with the Type-00 electric vehicle.

The latest public appearance of the Electric version was the Goodwood Festival of Speed where for the first time, the Range Rover Sport Electric was debuted. During this, its first ever public demonstration, the Sport tackled a series of challenges including driving through a sectioned airplane.  Something that I believe was done on 5^th Gear after the launch of the previous iteration of the Sport.
