It doesn’t seem it, but the L663 Defender has been with us now for 5 years. For the 26MY Land Rover have treated its best seller to a few mid life tweaks to keep interest keen.

The first tweak relates to the lighting. New headlights with signature graphic and standard fog lights adorn the front, whilst at the rear the lights are now flush and have smoked lenses. Staying with the exterior enhancements, two colour colours are available. Borasco Gray and a very traditional looking Woolstone Green.

New design bonnet inserts and side vents accompany the visual upgrade and are complimented by gloss black Defender branded wheel centre caps and grill. New 22” Seven spoke Grey alloy wheels are available as well.

Interior wise the 26MY Defender gets a new 13.1” infotainment screen and a new centre console design.

Technology wise Adaptive off road cruise control, first seen on the Range Rover Sport, is now available on Defender and is an evolution of the All-terrain progress control of the older models.
