February 2026
Happy Birthday to us! The First anniversary of our e-Zine and the Third anniversary of the Land Rover Life online Community!
This issue of www.lrlife.co.uk marks the first anniversary of our e-Zine, and the third anniversary of the Land Rover Life Community! The last 12 months have been a blur to be honest, but there is no time to look back. The 2026 Show season is being planned, and our club stands are being organised. As usual we plan to have a club stand at both the LRM show in May and the LRO show in September, as well as attending a new show to us, the Castlewood 4×4 show. If you wish to be part of our show stands you can register your interest by emailing the admin team on admin@lrlife.co.uk. Details of the shows we will be attending can be found on our events page, as can details of our own gathering the Waterside Weekender.
We have also been thinking about merchandise again and will be looking at a new range of Mugs and Stickers with the 2026 LRLife logo. As usual these can be purchased from club stands at the shows, but we are looking at an online shop so you can get your Land Rover Life Merch mail order!
Also new for 2026 will be our first yearbook. Taking some of our favourite e-Zine articles from the last 12 months, we will be producing a glossy A4 magazine with over 100 pages. Numbers will be limited to 50 off only and the Magazine will be available for £10 + £2.95 postage. Watch this space for more details, but if you wish to register interest, please email the admin team.
As Debbie mentions in her Roving with Debbie column the weather is a bit rubbish, which means the list of Land Rover maintenance jobs keeps growing rather than shrinking as procrastination wins over progress. Full Oil changes & hot start issues to be sorted, Minty’s rear door has to be replace and, oh make progress rebuilding Timmy and Terry. The list is endless and time is always at a premium it seems.
Still, all work and no play makes your admin team sad boys and girls, so a February green lane session around Holmfirth is being planned to check out some of the lanes that have just reopened after some temp TRO’s. Holmfirth had some great green lanes, so hopefully they will be as good as before. The best bit? One of the lanes starts within ½ mile of the Oil Can Café, so a cream tea will await when we have done! I mean, Living your Best Land Rover Life should have its perks!

Above – Using a selection of articles from our last 12 months we are creating our first ever Yearbook. Limited to just 50 copies, these will be available shortly. Watch this space!
